You gain “Experience Points” as you play your character at events or otherwise contribute to the game. Here are some notes on spending those points.
Click this link to spend your experience points online. You specify the skills, etc you want to increase, describe how your character is learning them and then Submit the spend. The Storytellers will then review any of the experience spends you do online and Approve (or Deny) them.
Learning and Training
Attributes – Provide information about how the character has used this attribute to justify the increase. If they haven’t used it much, how will they justify increasing it.
Abilities – If this is a skill you already have, how have you used it to justify increasing it. If you haven’t used it, how are you improving it. If it’s a new skill entirely, how are you going about learning it?
Clan Disciplines – These don’t require any set information, but we’d like to hear how it fits with your character.
Out of Clan Disciplines – These powers need to be taught. Each new dot should have a PC (or NPC) submit an Order to teach it, after which you can spend the XP.
Caitiff Disciplines – Speak with the STs
Thaumaturgy/Necromancy Paths – These need a source of learning, which should be identified in Orders, then detailed in an XP spend.
Rituals – These need a source of learning, which should be identified in Orders, then detailed in an XP spend.
Virtues – To increase a Virtue, this should be justified by your character’s conduct.
Willpower – provide information on how you justify your character’s new found strength of will – battling adversity, resisting effects, overcoming weaknesses etc.
Lores/Secondary Knowledges – These need a source of learning, which should be identified in Orders, then detailed in an XP spend.
